Sorry for the delay in posting this MP3 here. The Kitchen Sessions crew have been a little jet-lagged!
Paula will post more information about this programme shortly. In the meantime, enjoy the show, and don’t forget to tune in to Clare FM at 5pm today for the final programme in the series, live from Pakie Malley’s kitchen in Tulla. (That show will also be a podcast later.)

Hi Ralph, Yes it was such a privilege to have the likes of Martin Mulhaire, Mike Rafferty,Fr. Charlie Coen and Mike McHale all in one kitchen together, and to hear their stories. There’s a whole social history of immigrant music-making there - which we just began to explore. I did more in-depth interviews with Mike, Charlie, Jack Coen (Charlie’s brother nad master flute-player who was not able to be with us in New Jersey)and others. I will begin posting these to the website - once the broadcasts on Clare FM are finished. That way I hope you’ll continue enjoying “Kitchen Session Extras” for a few months to come!
